Ants and humans have more in common than many people think. "...group has to deal with public health, infrastructure, distribution of goods and services, market economies, mass transit problems, assembly lines and complex teamwork, agriculture, and animal domestication, welfare, and slavery. Ants have developed these problems" -Mark Moffett. Obviously, humans deal with all these problems in their day to day lives. Ants and humans work together for a common goal, whether it be safety, food, freedom, happiness, etc. Humans bond and make connections with each other, just as ants do in their colonies. They assign roles and tasks just as humans assign chores and jobs. It's astonishing the similarities that can be found in the relationship between the human race and ant colonies.
